Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected on 27 August 2026 from 15:00 onwards
Areas most at risk are Old Rufford Road. Edwinstowe and Ollerton are also at risk. Heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 8 hours. River levels at Mansfield The Dykes Gauge are rising rapidly due to the nature of the catchment.
We are closely monitoring the situation & monitoring river levels and rainfall.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water & move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.
