There is an extreme risk of forest and bush fire. Stay very vigilant. Be ready to take action to protect yourself from a rapidly developing fire. The public are asked to exercise extreme caution in the countryside, and immediately notify emergency services on any fire.

Heavy thunderstorms are possible, accompanied by local intense precipitation, hail and gusty winds. Intense local showers with hail, intense wind blasts and lightning strikes. Hail can damage crops; rain showers can cause the rising of torrential watercourses and rainwater floods. Lightning strikes may start fires. Disturbances in traffic and outdoor activities are possible. The sea is rough. Beware of approaching storm clouds. Wait on a safe spot inside a building; if a thunderstorm catches you in the open, find shelter in a building or vehicle. Do not carry metallic objects in the open. Do not linger under trees or power lines during a thunderstorm; lightning strike can be deadly! If possible, move vehicles into a garage in good time. Do not park under trees; a blast of wind can break branches or uproot a tree. Do not linger in the vicinity of torrential watercourses. When at sea, find the nearest safe haven.

Rainfall : from 25 to 50 mm/24h. Watercourses may overflow in areas usually prone to annual floods. Debris may clog certain river culverts. The population in the affected areas should follow the trend of water level and hydrological updates.

Strong jugo (SE wind). average wind speed > 40 km/h STAY ALERT for debris carried by strong winds. Debris and tree branches carried by the wind may cause localised interruptions in outdoor activities.

Flooding of the lowest parts of the coast, some walking trails, older piers. Sea access is impeded in some locations. We recommend caution on beaches, in marinas, berths in harbours and canals, and on walking paths by the sea. Events can worsen relatively quickly. Do not linger in potentially dangerous areas directly by the coast. Do not park your cars directly by the coast; remove parked cars from there. Do not deposit any materials on the lowest-lying coastal areas.
